Multex has sponsored Beatson Cancer Charity’s Music extravaganza, Rock Night, taking place on 19th October at the popular Ivory Blacks in Glasgow. The evening will be packed full of local bands all set to rock the club in the battle against cancer. Tickets are just £8 for a fantastic Saturday night out with friends that will make a difference to Scottish people and their families fighting cancer.
Beatson Cancer Charity help patients and families affected by cancer. They work to transform the way cancer care is funded and delivered, providing services, research and education. The Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre cares for patients and their families delivering cancer care with love and hope, supporting them before, during and after treatment. They also provide specialist support in Scottish Hospitals across all five health boards. Their work to change the lives of people affected by this dreadful disease is made possible through a wide range of supporters, together with fund raising activities.
“As a local company providing electronic test equipment into the health care sector, we are proud to be supporting Beatson Cancer Charity’s music event. We hope Ivory Blacks will be packed on Saturday the 19th October as local bands take to the stage to listen to some great local bands,” said Chris Smith, Multex Managing Director.
Rock Night will raise the roof with a variety of musicians playing a range of genres from Americana and Folk through to Jimi Hendrix hits and blues. The line-up includes The Patryns who will be playing tracks from their debut EP Last Orders, including the popular Innuendo, and The 117’s Love and Bullets from their Locked and Loaded EP. Doors open at 7pm.
